The menu at The Botanical offers contemporary cuisine with a range of influences seen across the range of dishes.
Perfectly positioned in front of the lush and leafy Botanic Gardens, large floor-to-ceiling windows let in light at the front of venue, while at the rear, the moody lighting, dark wood panelling and tan seating suits a transition to the evening.
Start with the lobster rolls served as a two-person portion and enjoy the light shatter-crisp brioche rolls filled with a creamy celeriac remoulade and generous chunks of lobster. Well seasoned, and with flavours of dill and gherkin throughout, this dish is a hit. Seafood lovers will also enjoy the seafood linguine. Generously served with white fish, scampi, mussels and clams, it’s lightly flavoured with garlic, chilli and lemon. For something heartier, the beef short rib is a stunning dish, with an intense meaty glaze and served attached to the bone; the accompanying fregola and lentils are a delight in themselves and offer a light contrast to the beef.
