You may remember him from such dining establishments as Riley Street Garage and Surly’s – Group Executive Chef Regan Porteous is the culinary mastermind behind the Parlour Group’s newest addition Stanton & Co., with Head Chef Marcelino Papio leading the kitchen team.
They may not give you a group hug but the hospitable staff greet you with effervescent smiles. Their engaging manner allows them to deliver a memorable dining experience.
You will be pleased to see some of the Parlour Group’s classic dishes feature on the menu, such as the crispy pork knuckle, soy seeded mustard and pickled apple dish. Stanton & Co. is notable for producing some tasty burgers, with sauces that turn the ordinary into extraordinary. The ubiquitous tartar sauce becomes an exciting textural and flavourful accompaniment to the crumbed fish burger. The delicious sauce in the spicy fried chicken burger is a partnership that works well with the qualities of the purple cabbage and pickles.
