The team at Red Spice Road continue to impress Melburnians with their vibrant and addictive South-East Asian cuisine. This spacious venue is dominated by shades of red and oversized wall art. Take a seat at the huge circular communal table that sits under an impressively oversized red lantern and enjoy the welcoming service. A popular spot with city workers, Red Spice Road offers a selection of set menus for lunch, where diners can sample a number of popular dishes. The ‘small plates’ are big on flavour: betel leaves loaded with beef, peanut, chilli sambal and coriander deliver an explosion of flavour, while the addictive Thai fried chicken with chilli pickle is perfect finger food. No meal at Red Spice Road would be complete with the popular pork belly: tender pork topped with crunchy crackling and dressed with a sweet and tangy chilli–caramel sauce.
