Adam Hudson has crafted a varied and eclectic Modern Italian menu that borrows from a range of cuisines. From the colourful peacock mural on the far wall to the warm welcome and friendly service, this lively neighbourhood eatery is perfect for a family gathering or a relaxed evening out.
Extensive lunch and specials boards supplement the concise menu, and the generous servings ensure you won’t leave hungry! Perfect for sharing, the buttermilk quail, kohlrabi slaw and black roast garlic aioli sliders feature sweet-tasting quail morsels – crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside – set off with a tangy dressing and nestled on four (yes, four!) mini buns. The intriguing ‘lasagne’ pizza is topped with slowcooked beef ragu, ricotta, parmesan and mozzarella on a rustic base, while the quality of the produce in the veal funghi, served with honey parsnips, broccolini, earthy pine mushrooms, sweet muscatels and a rich marsala sauce, is second to none.
