Head Chef Gabriele Bibbo helms this Adelaide institution that always delivers heart-warming food, rich in Italian tradition. Located across from South Australia’s Parliament House, the Parlamento team presents diners with a unique culinary experience based on southern Mediterranean favourites. In typical Italian style, service is attentive and well paced. The menu offers something for everyone. Entrees feature a range of mouth-watering combinations and flavours, such as arancini or mussels poached in white wine. Perhaps try the capesante: luscious grilled scallops served with the Mediterranean flavours of roast capsicum, eggplant and basil, and finished with a balsamic vinegar dressing. For mains, choose from a classic range of pasta and risotto or from an impressive set of secondi, including crowd favourites such as lamb cutlets, oven-baked quails or the traditional and generously sized saltimbocca: pan-fried veal medallions on rosemary potatoes, served with prosciutto, bocconcini, garlic, olive oil and sage.
