Under Head Chef Karen Martini, family favourite Mr. Wolf has been serving top-quality pizzas and the like for years.
Focusing on excellent produce in a casual, relaxed environment, the eatery is the perfect place for an early dinner with the kids, who can scribble on their disposable place mats with crayons, or a few pizzas and Italian vinos with some mates.
The menu starts with antipasti, such as a plate of salami, pickles and olives. Other easy appetisers include calamari fritte with rocket, veal and pork meatballs with classic tomato sugo, and baked ricotta with pickled grapes, olives and dried chilli. Thin-crust pizzas come in a range of delicious toppings, such as the Sicilian, with prawns, peas and cherry tomatoes. Broccolini makes green look great on a pizza, accompanied by roasted garlic paste, gorgonzola and pancetta. ‘Not pizza’ options include a classic niçoise salad of seared tuna fillet on a bed of green beans, potato, tomato, anchovies and egg or their timeless chicken schnitzel and coleslaw.
