Fabulously exciting and quirky Japanese restaurant Mr. Miyagi is headed up by Chef Kyle Doody.
Every night is party night at this loud and gregarious eatery. Packed with people sipping cocktails and listening to the latest loud tunes, this Gen-Y haven attracts a glamour crowd. Cocktails are adventurous, such as the salted watermelon martini with Midori watermelon balls.
The food is modern and creative. A paper-thin rice cone is filled with smoked chicken, crunchy walnuts and sweetness from some apple and mustard mayo. Their signature nori taco is deep-fried, and packed with salmon belly, sushi rice and spicy Napa cabbage, or you might like to try the pork belly pancake, which stars a thick chunk of 48-hour crispy-skinned pork belly. From the Happy’s hand roll selection, try the Himalayan salt slab-cured kingfish with quinoa, chilli, coriander, fennel, apple and lemon – delicate, delicious flavours and showstopping presentation.
