A sleek wine bar in hip Fitroy Marion's interior has modern European feel with white washed brick walls, dark timber floors and dark leather. Stand at the narrow bar to sip and snack or sit and share a meal with friends. 3. The menu is a carefully curated collection of punchy small to smallish dishes designed to mix, match and share. Many of the dishes feature paired, distinctively different but complementary flavours such as the mussells with earthy, spicy nduja which come with a delightfully springly, fried flat bread. A tender confit duck leg is served on hearty, braised borlotti beans infused with green mustard, the acrid flavour a delicious foil to the rich duck. The vegetable dishes are full of interest, a salad of fennel with cool and mild squacquerone is garnished with finely chopped green olives. Psst.
