L'avis de Gault&Millau
Chef Luke Mangan and his team have created an inspired brunch menu incorporating the best of Australian ingredients with favourites we all know and love.
It’s about time Sydney had a premier brunch venue that was comfortable, beautifully designed and served delicious food. That is exactly what Luke’s Kitchen in Waterloo offers diners on weekends.
The choice of food makes you want to order one of everything! The breakfast burger with a side of truffle fries offers a few elements of surprise. This delicious dish sees a sausage patty teamed with bacon, fried egg, kimchi mayo, lettuce, tomato and those more-ish fries. For those that love a classic, try the smashed avocado with blistered tomatoes, ‘goddess’ dressing, bacon and dukkah, which is a healthy serve and won’t blow the budget. The drinks menu is inspired. Have you ever heard of an avocado shake with coffee? Well, now you have!
PSST! Luke’s Kitchen also offers a dinner menu during the week (Wed to Sat), as well as a degustation for only $75 (plus $45 for matching wines).
