Having worked at Jonah’s, Yellow, Quay and more, Head Chef and co-owner Xenia Jade brings a wealth of experience to Lot. One, where she has compiled an interesting and creative menu.
You are welcomed at the cheery red door and made to feel at home in a contemporary space with exposed brick walls, geometric patterned floors, dark timber furnishings and subtle lighting from dozens of dangling light globes.
Dishes are labelled small or large, and if you want to share you can choose a selection of small dishes. Perhaps try the arancini – golden-crusted globes of truffle-infused rice enclosing a heart of melting cheese. The charcuterie board, with paper-thin slices of four cured meats and slightly sweet house-made crunchy pickled vegetables, is also great for sharing. The large dishes are also well worth trying, such as the moist, pink pork neck served on a delicious, sweet, fresh pear sauce with a puffed pork rind perched on top – a beautiful pairing of complementary flavours and textures.
