The tapas dishes on offer at Delicado Foods are strongly influenced by Spanish cuisine and tradition, fusing those influences with both Australian and overseas ingredients. This is a wonderful place to dine all year round, protected by the elements thanks to outdoor furnishings and fixtures. During cooler weather, heat lamps and throws keep diners toasty. In Spain, the time before lunch and supper is devoted to the ritual of tapeo – going out to feast on tapas at specialised tapas houses. The good folk at Delicado Foods follow the same tradition, with favourites available throughout the day. The chefs have taken the ubiquitous potato and given it a fresh twist! The angry potatoes are a favourite due to the home-style bravas sauce and the hauntingly smoky scents of paprika. Of course, one cannot go past the chorizo and morcilla. The morcilla is a sausage made with blood and rice, finished on the grill and served alongside chorizo with chimichurri. PSST! According to the Spanish-speaking staff, the desserts are just as good, if not better, that what they get back home in Spain. Reviewed for the 2019 Guide
