This restaurant takes you from the streets of Kings Cross and into what you feel is a high-end restaurant in Mexico City. You are greeted with an incredible bar showcasing all the best tequila and agave available in Australia, South American-inspired tunes, friendly staff and a suitable, Mexican-holiday decor.
This isn’t your average Tex-Mex, this is a proper Mexican cantina that feels like your abuela is out the back pressing masa tortillas and cooking everything fresh to order! Order a plate of chips and guacamole to start and then check out the menu for the contemporary range of Mexican favourites: tacos, empanadas, tostadas and ceviche – all so perfect for sharing. Perhaps the chorizo empanada will take your fancy or a ceviche. More substantial meals from the grill are sure to please, or if it is just too difficult to choose, opt for one of the set menus.
