Bouzy Rouge is an alluring blend of large and extravagant European artefacts surrounded by a decadent bronze and gold decor that is warm and welcoming.
The Mediterranean-inspired selection of smaller bites, mains, salads and meat options has something for everyone. Charred octopus is dressed in a fragrant green salsa picada and is accompanied by confit potatoes. This dish is surprisingly mild, and would have been improved with a little more seasoning. Meat lovers should indulge in the 500g crisp-roasted hock, which is served on the bone. The tender meat is well balanced with a light and refreshing charred pineapple salsa and an earthy parsnip puree.
