At Wildwater Grill, Ephraim Malongwa provides meatloving locals with generous portions of succulent cuts. The restaurant is open to the outdoors, and you can hear the waves crashing, the wind whispering and children laughing, and watch the foot traffic pass by. Eager service makes for a pleasant visit to this beachside establishment.
Roll up your sleeves, as you may get a little juice down your arms, chin and cheek, but that’s what it’s all about! When the Wildwater grass-fed beef burger with bacon, Swiss cheese, dill pickles, onion relish, aioli, lettuce and onions is placed in front of you, it lives up to expectations. The rib combo – a half rack of pork ribs and boerewors – will send you into a piranha-like frenzy, as the meat around the bone is where the money is at, and the boerewors is filled with wondrous flavours.
PSST! The food here is fun, the meats are juicy, and spillages are bound to occur! Even though Wildwater provides paper bibs, don’t wear your best white clothes here!
