Owner/Chef Mimma Diana and Head Chef Emerson Tauro continue to deliver Italian cuisine with a modern Australian edge at this popular, local trattoria.
Vine is a family-run restaurant where guests are welcomed like old friends. Inside there’s a central bar surrounded with cosy seating, or dine al fresco under the awning on the streetfront. Brothers Mark and Daniel Rotolone run the front of house, providing friendly, passionate service. There’s a good range of local and imported cheeses to go with the extensive local and imported wine list.
The menu is typically Italian with many traditional favourites, including fresh pastas as well as steak, duck and daily fish. The Moreton Bay bug and braised fennel risotto is well seasoned and creamy, with a distinctive bug flavour. For mains, house-made fusilli is tossed through a white rabbit ragu that is full of earthy flavours, while house-made pappardelle is served with a sweet chicken and pork ragu made with tomato and lashings of parmigiano reggiano.
PSST! Bring your dog, relax and sit on the streetfront while watching the world pass by …
