Executive Chef Paul McGrath oversees the kitchen teams at The Grounds of Alexandria and has designed a wholesome and casual menu that caters to lovers of food in general.
It may be in the heart of Alexandria, but you’ll be transported from the hustle and bustle of the city when you plant yourself at The Potting Shed for an evening of good conversation, hearty meals and a glass of wine, while you sit in awe of the incredible and consistent decor of plants, flowers, shovels and rakes.
You can graze on The Shed platter while enjoying an ale or a cocktail, or perhaps try the kangaroo empanadas or buttermilk fried chicken, which are great to share. Follow up with a delicious piece of wagyu beef tail or free-range pork T-bone served with a crunchy fennel salad and fried pickles. Fish lovers may like to try the tempura whiting fillets served with ponzu aioli and hand-cut chips.
PSST! Enjoy your meal with a range of sides and you will leave feeling full, happy and satisfied!
