Sean Connolly has an array of accolades and achievements under his belt and he sure knows his way around a kitchen! This is evident at The Morrison Bar & Oyster Room where the dishes are fresh, done simply and of excellent quality.
A casual bar/restaurant set on the corner of busy George Street, The Morrison has a very rustic warehouse feel. It’s the kind of place you could meet a friend after work or go a fun date.
Proteins are cooked on the bone or in the shell, and produce is fresh and Australian grown. Sean’s half famous steak tartare will live up to expectations. The Worcestershire sauce gives the dish a nice bite and the fresh lettuce leaf boats set it apart from a regular tartare. The crab tacos are an exciting and fresh dish, with bright red crabmeat generously set on top of a lettuce leaf and finished with caviar. One of the highlights is the chilli crab linguine – a memorable and fabulous dish.
