The network of Saké restaurants extends along Australia’s East Coast, and you’ll find experienced Head Chef Daisuke Sakai at the helm of the kitchen brigade at the Brisbane venue.
Located in Brisbane’s popular Eagle Street Pier dining precinct, Saké offers a choice of casual outdoor seating looking over the river, inside tables in the dimly-lit main dining area, or private booths for special occasions or business lunches.
While there are some modern Australian inspirations to the menu, the selections don’t stray too far from popular Japanese dishes. The well-trained sushi chefs work in full sight of the diners and the generous servings of rolls are creative and complex, with the crunchy kingfish a standout. Fun snacks like chicken karaage and popcorn shrimp are served with more-ish mayonnaises and sauces. Sweet soy-braised pork belly and teriyaki lamb chop are popular main course choices, or for those keeping things light, there is a comprehensive offering of fresh nigiri and sashimi, which can be ordered individually or in a tasting menu.
PSST For those who like to travel, your bill payment at Saké earns Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
