Head Chef Michael Morrison is in charge of the kitchen, under the guidance of legendary Executive Chef Damien Pignolet, and their philosophy is to keep it simple and let the produce shine. Both have a passion for classic cooking techniques and flavour combinations. With a maritime feel and surrounded by slick private yachts, the restaurant appeals to those who appreciate exquisite food and one of the best views on Sydney Harbour.
Regatta’s seafood-focused menu includes crab omelette, super fresh oysters, and tuna tartare. Perhaps start with the impressive Mooloolaba prawns with French tarragon butter. The grilled prawns are served in their shells, with the tarragon butter adding flavour and richness. Classic meat dishes make an appearance on the menu too, such as the grilled 300-day grain-fed ‘Grainge’ sirloin … served with café de Paris butter and French fries, of course!
PSST! Frequented and appreciated by the locals, the adjacent café serves casual meals and drinks without a compromise on the amazing view.
