This is not your ordinary Chinese menu – it is extensive and full of variety and unusual ingredients, including crocodile, kangaroo and live pipis to name a few. The large space is occupied by a sea of white tablecloths and plenty of staff, all busily attending to the task at hand and, most importantly, bringing the show to life. Sizeable lobsters and pipis can be seen in large tanks, ready for guests to select their fresh seafood. The à la carte menu has a somewhat contemporary tone.
You can’t go wrong if you start off with the traditional crowd- pleasers of duck pancakes. These tasty morsels feature crispy fried duck with a well-balanced hoisin sauce all wrapped up in a soft pancake. For a warming dish, the salted fish and chicken tofu hotpot might hit the spot. Or you may want to visit for yum cha, and when the food and choices are this good, you cannot help but order more. Harmonised flavour and well-executed techniques will keep you coming back for more. Great for groups!
PSST! Don’t forget to ask the staff for your parking discount voucher (conditions apply).
