A team of specialist chefs, led by Head Chef Stefano Moretti, are hard at work to impress diners at Oliveto Ristorante e Bar, where they are famous for turning locally sourced ingredients into delicious dishes. The restaurant is located in the parklands of Brays Bay Reserve, and has stunning views over the water and the bay. In winter, the floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to admire the surroundings and view from the comfort and warmth of the indoor space. In summer, the windows are thrown open to create an indoor–outdoor vibe.
When in Rome – well, at Oliveto – you should definitely try some of their pastas; they’re all freshly made, and cooked to perfection. The tagliolini with blue swimmer crab is a delightful, light but satisfying creation. If you’re in the mood for something more substantial, the cavatelli with duck ragu is a good choice.
PSST! Oliveto Bar has recently been refurbished, and there’s a fantastic Friday afternoon offer – Aperitivo Hour between 5pm and 7pm.
