The iconic Manly Wharf plays host to one of Sydney most established restaurant names – Hugos. Head Chefs Tal Amiray and Bob Mellor have created an Italian-inspired menu perfectly suited to one of Sydney’s most beautiful locations.
Blessed by the position, guests can dine inside or out and dine right over the water’s edge. The dining room is open and airy with lots of raw timber against white walls for that important coastal feel.
The world-famous pizzas at Hugos are a popular choice, but the spaghettini with Queensland spanner crab, sun-dried tomatoes, chilli, garlic, coriander and shallot is perfectly balanced for those who enjoy pasta with a ‘kick’. For those looking to indulge, the seafood platter is one of the Northern Beaches’ best: half a Sydney rock lobster, grilled Yamba king prawns with chilli and garlic butter, natural oysters, steamed mussels with pickled fennel, fried calamari, yellowfin tuna sashimi, ocean trout and hiramasa kingfish with soy and wasabi.
PSST! Be sure to check out the list of cocktails – Hugos is famous for them!
