With a focus on excellent steaks and boutique wines, this family-friendly gastropub has been serving excellent food for years.
The Grosvenor is a spacious joint, with several sections to it, including the bistro, a bustling bar, function spaces, an adjoining grocery and bottle shop and a burger bar offering takeaway – quite a complex, catering to a wide range of customers.
The extensive menu has lots of pub classics, with something for everyone’s age and taste. A bowl of mussels in a tomato sauce comes with crunchy bread to soak it up, and chimichurri lamb ribs are perfect to snack on before something more substantial. Mains include a fish of the day, which may be a fresh yellowfin tuna fillet, chargrilled so it’s moist inside, with zucchini ribbons and refreshing citrus grapefruit. Priding themselves on grass-fed beef – aged in house for 40 days – the eye fillet is top quality, and comes served with chips and dressed leaves. Then, there are the wood-fire pizzas, hand-pressed angus beef burgers and all manner of parmies – so many choices!
PSST! The Grosvenor offers children’s meals at affordable prices.
