Chef Michael Nash has been overseeing Garfish Manly since its opening over a decade ago. His philosophy is heavily geared towards sourcing the best seafood and cooking it well. Although seafood and, in particular, the wood-charcoal oven are the stars, there’s plenty of other options for those not inclined towards seafood.
Garfish Manly is well situated just off the popular Manly Corso and has great views looking back to the harbour. A short stroll from the Manly ferry and with good parking options, it’s a popular and busy restaurant that attracts couples, groups, work colleagues and anyone looking for a good meal in a great location.
Snapper pie is a signature dish and comes filled with a good amount of snapper and broccolini. It’s finished in a delightful sauce that calls for bread or chips to soak up. For the Garfish spin on fish and chips, wood-charcoal barramundi is served with chips and a choice of sides. It’s another well-cooked dish that boasts a generous serve.
PSST! Look to their regular blackboard specials for the latest fish options and sides.
