Mark Archer (ex-Tomislav, Tabou, Pello and Becasse) brings a wealth of talent and experience to the table. His menu is designed to satisfy those looking for a casual drink and snack/small meal, as well as those who want a more memorable dining experience. The decor is modern, interesting and eclectic. The restaurant is also known for its bar, and there’s a great inner-city vibe to the venue, perfect for an after-work meal and drinks but also suited to couples and small groups celebrating a special occasion.
The food is Mediterranean influenced – it’s uncomplicated, with a variety of dishes to suit different tastes. For the clam risotto, well-seasoned, tender, juicy clams are teamed with a zesty parsley and herb risotto. The finishing touch is a nottoo- spicy, yet satisfying, fresh horseradish cream. Perfectly seasoned and cooked to order, the succulent sirloin steak is accompanied by grilled, seasoned sweet onions and topped with a perfectly balanced Dijon mustard cream.
PSST! Pop in on weekdays between 4pm and 6pm for ‘Happy Hour’, with specials on selected beer, wine, bubbles and several snacks/small dishes.
