Tom Naige (ex-The Rocks Restaurant) is a master of combining delicately flavoured produce and rich sauces. His seasonal menu takes you on a journey to southern Europe. White walls, white plates and white tablecloths shimmer as you walk into the restaurant, reflecting the glistening water view outside. A warm and welcoming greeting from the friendly staff members encourages you to stay awhile.
With small, medium and big plates, the menu accommodates all hunger levels. For a terrific starter, you can’t go past crisp zucchini flowers filled with basil and ricotta. They are served with salsa agrodolce, a traditional sweet and sour sauce that takes the zucchini flowers to the next level. For something more substantial, try the roasted half duck served with beetroot tabouli, summer mustard fruits and burnt orange. The sweet and savoury flavours are a match made in heaven!
