The cheerful logo of this friendly osteria reflects the personality of Chef Nicole Bampton (ex-Lucio’s Italian Restaurant). Her cooking displays a sense of fun while paying respect to the traditions that underpin Italian cuisine.
Dine among the bustle of the open kitchen, outside on the open terrace or with a little more privacy upstairs, where an open balcony provides a view over the heart of Sydney’s Little Italy.
The menu is split into three sections: dishes to share, dishes from the wood-fired oven and house-made pastas. We suggest you select your pasta first then work backwards, as you won’t want to miss Chef Bampton’s speciality. Pumpkin and ricotta ravioli with almonds, burnt butter and sage features tender pasta, plenty of rich filling and lashings of burnt butter. You could precede this with wood-fire chicken wings, served with pickled celery shards and spicy Calabrian ‘nduja mayonnaise. If you’d not already ordered pasta these could easily become your whole meal. See what we did there? You’re welcome!
