Kyoto-born Chef Nobuyuki Ito discovered his passion for cooking in his early twenties. He focuses on creating Japanese dishes using Australian produce, and it is this passion and commitment that has cemented Busshari as one of Sydney’s best-loved traditional Japanese restaurants. Busshari is located near the entertainment hub of Kings Cross and is a popular venue for lovers of traditional Japanese cuisine.
Sitting at the counter, ordering sushi or sashimi while drinking sake with nibbles and watching the chefs at work is a great way to enjoy the Busshari experience. The restaurant also has a glassed-in grill area, so you can watch the chef as he cooks over charcoal, creating flavoursome yakimono (grilled) dishes. Offering excellent value and quality, the sushi and sashimi are highly recommended, and the dinner menu, in particular, has an extensive selection – perhaps give the chef’s selection sushi plate a try?
PSST! Busshari offers a casual, affordable lunchtime menu.
