Chef Thi Le creates very interesting menus that show off her heritage and her career history, having worked with Andrew McConnell and Christine Manfield. The regularly changing menu is driven by the best quality ingredients available at the time.
This 30-seat restaurant reflects the modern approach and attitude of the owners: white walls, stark light fittings, and comfortable furniture, it feels classy and homey at the same time.
Designed for sharing, the menu always includes some intriguing items. Sharing pickled mussels and a dish of glass noodles showcases the combinations of Asian flavours perfectly. Enjoy simple dishes such as duck leg, perfectly roasted and served with a plum puree and lamb, and gently flavoured with honey and lemongrass. The innovative herb garden is the perfect accompaniment – eaten like san choi bao, the delicate parcels of vermicelli rice noodles, Vietnamese pickles of beetroot, cucumber and daikon on tender salad leaves and fresh herbs are a highlight.
PSST! With such innovative dishes on offer, it may be difficult to choose. Solution? The Chef’s Selection option, available at both lunch and dinner sessions.
