Just in time for World Fried Chicken Day!
Hello Auntie Restaurant has created the world’s first pho-brined fried chicken and is dishing it up to Sydneysiders just in time to celebrate World Fried Chicken Day (6 July). Known for its ‘new-school’ twist on classic Vietnamese favourites Hello Auntie’s owner and Executive Chef Cuong Nguyen has re-invented the classic pho dish in a crispier form.
From 3 July, diners will be able to sink their teeth into 12-hour brined pho chicken coated in crunchy pho-infused batter, paired with a side of special pho-infused sauces – all washed down with a bottle of Boll & Cie Blanc De Blancs.
For $100 customers can get 1kg of the juicy pho fried chicken with a bottle of Boll & Cie and sauces but for those with a smaller appetite, they are offering a $20 option for one piece of chicken and one glass of Boll & Cie. However, Hello Auntie bets that customers are going to want more than one piece of this pho-brined fried chicken.
Only available for two weeks, Auntie’s ‘Ga Chien Mui Pho’ Pho-brined Fried Chicken and Champagne will be available in-store at Hello Auntie Marrickville.
