Fix Wine Bar is launching a brand new series of tasting events designed to teach you how to truly appreciate your wine.
monthly, the sessions will be hosted by owner and acclaimed sommelier, Stu
Knox, who has been working in the wine trade for 20 years.
The first Wine School 101 will kick off on Tuesday 27 August from 6pm–7pm with
a focus on the trends and tastes of Tasmanian wines. Stu is a judge for a
number of well-known Australian wine shows, including the Royal Hobart
Wine Show, which is coming up this month. Wine School 101 is a great opportunity
to taste some of the country’s most renowned sparkling wines, best pinots,
and interesting whites.
Tickets are $60 per head and include a taste of 5–6 wines, accompanied by cheese and salumi boards. Places are limited, and bookings are essential.
