What’s on at Tipico in August

Tipico will be hosting two special evenings focusing on Italian regional cuisine, along with a Saturday pappardelle masterclass.

Cena Siciliana at Tipico 

Celebrating all that is Sicilian food and wine, Tipico has teamed up with Poggio Anima wines to bring you Cena Siciliana. The evening will begin with assaggi and antipasti followed by four courses designed by Head Chef Daniele Colombo, inspired by Sicilian street food, fresh seafood and southern hospitality. Guests can expect tagliata tonno – lightly seared yellowfin tuna fillet; garganelli alla norma – eggplant pasta with tomato sugo, salted ricotta and basil; pesce spada – crumbed swordfish fillet with caponata; and a dolci to finish. Of course, no Sicilian feast would be complete without vino, with three Poggio Anima wines throughout the night matched perfectly to the mains.

Cena Abruzzese at Tipico 

To celebrate the Italian region of Abruzzo, Tipico is bringing a five-course feast to Windsor with matched Abruzzese wines from Tenuta Ulisse. Guests will be transported to the centre of Italy with a sharing menu of Abruzzo favourites.

Pappardelle Masterclass at Tipico 

Following the success of its recent cooking masterclasses, Tipico is hosting a Pappardelle Masterclass and encourages all pasta enthusiasts to come along and get messy.

 

Guests will spend the morning creating perfect authentic pasta under the guidance of Tipico’s Head Chef Daniele Colombo and his talented team of chefs, learning traditional techniques before sitting down together for a pasta lunch accompanied by a glass of wine. Patrons will have the opportunity to take home their own freshly made pappardelle, plus their newly acquired skills to impress friends and family at their next dinner party.
