TarraWarra Estate teams up with Palermo to explore Australian vs. Argentinian wine


TarraWarra Estate's Clare Halloran will join the team at Palermo on Monday, 5 August for a special wine dinner to explore wines from the two nations.



TarraWarra Estate Winemaker and General Manager Clare Halloran is venturing to Melbourne’s popular South American restaurant Palermo on Monday, 5 August for a special wine dinner that will explore the comparison of Australian vs. Argentinian wines. With more than 20 years experience making wine at the internationally renowned Yarra Valley winery, Clare is one of the most skilful winemakers in the country.

“Argentina, like Australia, has a diverse climate and strong wine-growing culture, spread across many distinct regions. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain an understanding of Argentinian wine and its importance as the fifth largest producer in the world. Paired with an authentic menu, it promises to be an informative and enjoyable evening,” says Clare.


Clare will join Palermo’s celebrated wine expert Emilia Flotts, uncovering the nitty gritty facts about each country’s unique wine offerings, including the influence of varying climates and terrain differences.


Guests will journey across Australia and Argentina with an educational wine tasting, while enjoying an authentic three-course Argentinian meal prepared by Palermo Head Chef Mikey Dalton.


With only 40 tickets available, the intimate and informative event is one not to be missed by both wine enthusiasts and beginners alike.
