A creative workspace and collaboration hub now open in Rushcutters Bay
Leading brand experience studio, Example, has officially opened the doors to Example House, a creative workspace and collaboration hub, in Rushcutters Bay.
Catering to people in the creative, entertainment and hospitality communities, Example House is driven by the power of collaboration, bringing likeminded people together in a dynamic and inspiring environment.
Example House has been designed by Acme, the multidisciplinary design firm behind some of Sydney’s most acclaimed restaurant and bar spaces, including The Grounds of Alexandria, Fred’s, J&M and Archie Rose.
Transforming what was a smash repair garage into a 350sqm expansive creative space, Example House boasts spectacular high-spec design that brings life to the historic building. High ceilings, sandstone walls and natural light ground the space and create a sense of calm, while deep blue sofas, neon artwork by Tom Adair, and a vibrant ever-changing rainbow bookshelf are designed to lift and inspire.
Fostering a sense of community is key, so there are also multiple breakout areas to encourage members to connect – including a marble kitchen, luxurious lounge area and a purpose-built bar that regularly plays host to tastings and educational workshops on Friday afternoons.
Example House offers a range of membership options from $40 a day including hot desk day passes, monthly memberships and permanent desks. Those who want to break free of their current space to impress and inspire can book one of the meeting or conference rooms, bar and lounge area, or even the whole venue for events.
Rebecca Gibbs, Director of Example, said: “Collaboration is the heart and soul of Example; the agency was designed to bring together creative experts across different marketing disciplines to produce great work, so this felt like an organic evolution of what we do”.
“While we were growing our agency over the past three years, we could see that that many friends in our industries were missing out on opportunities by working on their own or not having a creative home like we did. Example House now allows us to foster a creative energy and connection for people both in and outside our business”.
Andy El-Bayeh, Co-Director, said: “Example House is about bringing a bunch of smart and passionate people together, raising the bar for our industries as a whole. A place to share ideas, laughs and success. It doesn’t matter if you’re running an established business, solo operator, or freelancer, if you work with beers, bars or boutique brands; if you’ve got ideas, we’ve got desks”.
Example is Australia’s go-to brand experience agency for the food & drink, travel, entertainment and lifestyle industries. Specialising in branding, marketing and communications, the agency puts brands front and centre of today’s culture, connecting audiences with life’s most talked about moments. Based at Example House, but working with a cross-section of national and international clients, Example is setting the new standard for creative and strategic thinking.
