South Melbourne coffee institution ST. ALi will swap espresso cups for blackboards Saturday May 25 as Mercedes me is transformed into what might be the city’s coolest coffee school yet.
ST. ALi Fundamentals class will consist of a series of 45-minute lectures and practical lessons on cupping, brewing, pouring and much more. Whether a well-seasoned professional, an aspiring barista or simply an all-round coffee enthusiast—the event promises to be an accessible and fun day of education for all.
Students will learn under the guidance of Australia’s coffee-making experts: ST. ALi’s procurement specialist and licensed Q-grader Lucy Ward, Barista Hustle founder and World Champion Matt Perger, and the nation’s number one latte artist, Shinsaku Fukuyama.
Lucy says: “ST. ALi Fundamentals is here to set you up for your coffee career. I will be sharing my skills and ideas to help you weave them into your daily work environment and take your coffee-game to the next level.”
