Chef Jack Aw Yong presents Silks Signature Series this October
Renowned as the global godfather of Chinese cuisine, Chef Jack Aw Yong is returning to Australia this month for the first time in 25 years, presenting Silks Signature Series from October 18–27.

Travelling exclusively to Crown Melbourne from Beijing with his top supporting chefs, guests can experience traditional Chinese cuisine at its finest, indulging in his limited-time-only à la carte menu.
Inspired by signature family recipes and his rich culinary career heading up first-class kitchens across the globe, specialty dishes include his black pepper king crab (main pic), matsutake pork rib consommé with black garlic and single malt whisky and – with a strong penchant for Australian seafood – his drunken marron infused with 35 ingredients over 36 hours.
The Chief Innovation Officer at FWM Restaurants Asia and an Executive Chef with more than 30 years’ experience working at Hyatt Hotel Group, Chef Yong has also won his reputation through achievements in many global events including Bocuse d'Or Cooking Competition (Top in Asia) and Sapporo International Culinary Art Contest in Japan.
