Indulge in gourmet food at home
The No.5 team have very quickly adapted to the latest restrictions and created a takeaway menu. Of the rapidly changing situation, Head Chef Emrys Jones says: "… we have worked hard this week to create and offer a takeaway menu, something that we have never done before but hope will help in some small way to see people through these challenging times". The takeaway menu is a mix of restaurant favourites like swordfish ceviche and No.5’s famous chicken ribs (pictured), so people can have a touch of isolation gourmet for their virtual date nights.
Originally hailing from Wales, Emrys will also be adding two daily specials to the takeaway menu of home-style British comfort meals like steak and ale pie and lamb curry – the perfect accompaniment to a good Netflix binge!
In another first for No.5, they will also be offering ‘Ready To Go’ cocktails including margaritas, negronis and espresso martinis, as well as bottles of spirits and wine for takeaway.
The menu launched on Friday, 27 March and is available for pick up between 4pm and 11pm, Wednesday to Sunday. To place an order, all people need to do is phone No.5 on (02) 9030 0009 and they will then call you back when the order is ready for collection. Cashless payments will be taken at the time of pick-up.
