Welcome to Antipodean Restaurant and Bar, the latest project from Gault&Millau Chef of the Year 2017 - Grant King.
After six years of acclaim with the culinary playground of Gastro Park, King and his team will open the doors of Antipodean Restaurant and Bar in late May. Antipodean is King's tribute to the best local artisans, farmers, growers, forages, fisherman, wineries, breweries, distilleries and ceramicists Australia and New Zealand have to offer.
Antipodean will be a casual restaurant serving 99% antipodean only products. King and his team will be working closely with local producers to bring a diverse menu of the best this part of the world has to offer at a very accessible price point.
Antipodean will be open seven nights, Friday lunch and Saturday and Sunday brunch and lunch. The menus will be a selection of dishes designed around sustainability and the seasons.
