From its humble beginnings in the heart of Sydney’s CBD in 2002, Gelatissimo now consists of 43 stores nationwide and continues to make gelato fresh in-store, using only the best ingredients, with no artificial colours and flavours.
When Gelatissimo opened in 2002, the King Street, Sydney concept store offered 32 flavours in its range. Nearly two decades later, the brand features more than 50 delicious flavours, with mango, pistachio and chocolate featuring on the menu since the beginning. Gelatissimo has also evolved its range, which now includes non-dairy, low sugar and vegan-friendly flavours. Launched this month, the latest creamy vegan flavours include Choc Cookies & Cream and Strawberries & Cream Tart.
To celebrate their coming of age, Gelatissimo has brought back a crowd favourite for a limited time only as their September flavour of the month, Chocolate made with Lindt. A modern twist on a classic favourite when Gelatissimo first opened, a rich chocolate gelato, made with Lindt Swiss Premium Chocolate and drizzled with Lindt chocolate throughout, is a real chocolate lover’s dream.
Speaking about Gelatisismo’s 18th Birthday, CEO Filipe Barbosa said: “Making delicious, quality gelato is no easy task, neither is building a brilliant gelato brand. Starting from Saturday, 5 September, its official birthday date, Gelatissimo will offer four lucky recipients the chance to win Gelatissimo for a year across their Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Email Newsletter platforms.
