The banquet begins with Indian street food (papadi chaat and Colonel Tso's cauliflower), followed by tandoori chicken and lamb ribs cumin dukkah from the tandoor, and ending with two curries: short rib korma and Jessi Singh's famous 'unauthentic' butter chicken, served with rice, raita and two naan. Delivered cooked but cold, ready to heat and eat, Daughter In Law's Father's Day menu feeds two ($100) and is complete with a one-litre growler of Stone and Wood's Pacific Ale. Vegan and vegetarian options are available.

Pick-up/delivery details: Delivery is free for those within a 7km radius of Daughter In Law, and $15 for those further, up to 20km. Deliveries will be made until 5:00pm 5 September, with icepacks used to keep the food cold overnight.
