The team at Bodriggy Brewing Co. have been counting down the days to reopen and welcome back patrons for dining and drinking
The wait is finally over and customers can now devour a choice of set menus from head chef Johny Dominguez. Latin American favourites and new dishes include mushroom and jalapeño empanadas with agave syrup; oxtail Brazilian croquette; smoked chicken with spices, oregano, lime juice, aji pancha chilli and garlic; salmon ceviche with red leche de tigre; tortillas and aji amarillo (yellow chilli cream sauce).
As always, the delicious menu can be washed down with beers such as Speccy Juice – a full-bodied session IPA with mandarin and piney hop aromas and a fair whack of hop bitterness; or the Cosmic Microwave – chock-a-block full of apricot, pineapple and orange hop flavours and aromas. The limited series will feature Mandymuck Mandarin Stout, a collaboration between Bodriggy and Birdsnake Chocolate.
Celebrate the end of lockdown with cocktails! Gringo Collins with Escabac, sherry, mint, cucumber and grapefruit basil soda or That Pink Drink – a palate cleanser to reset in between the craft beers, featuring 666 lemon myrtle vodka, house-made grenadine, rosemary and peppercorn – are just the start.
The wait’s been long enough so it’s time to round up best buds for brews. The set menu options are six courses for $35 or eight courses for $55 with seating times a maximum of two hours. All bookings must be made via the booking system.
Bodriggy will be open Wednesday and Thursday, 6pm–8pm for two sittings, as well as Friday and Saturday, 12pm–10pm for five sittings and Sunday, 12pm–8pm for four sittings.
For those who’ve enjoyed stocking up on beers, the on-site Bodriggy Froff Shop will remain open Wednesday to Sunday.
Bodriggy will adhere to government social distancing regulations, with a current maximum of 20 patrons inside the venue, adjusting this figure as restrictions ease further.
