A weekend dosed in sour power, art and music ~ 17–19 January 2020
Bodriggy Brewing Co. is set to launch its first sour beer festival Electric Kool-Aid in January 2020. Taking place over three days – 17th, 18th, 19th January – the Bodriggy Brewpub will play host to ten of the best breweries in the industry, twenty beers and a jam-packed program of diverse performances including dance, live music and more.
Electric Kool-Aid will host an impressive line-up of 20 breweries, including Site Fermentation Project, Molly Rose Brewing, Sailors Grave Brewing, 3 Ravens Brewery, KAIJU! Beer, Batch Brewing Company, Garage Project, Dollar Bill Brewing Pty Ltd, Beerfarm, Two Metre Tall and hosts, Bodriggy Brewing Co. The full line-up will be announced on 18 December.
Festival-goers can expect a stellar line-up of entertainment, including Sui Zhen, Rings Around Saturn, Chiara Kickdrum, Alex Albrecht-Melquiades, AcidSlop, kuzich and Ben Keynes, with more acts to be announced soon.
The participating breweries will be creating brand new froffs especially for the festival and guests can expect a mixture of kettle and barrel aged sours, fruity sour beers and more.
For an entry price of only $10 per day, beer lovers can work their way through an impressive sour beer line-up, cast a vote for the People’s Choice Award, enjoy live entertainment and sharpen their sour beer knowledge with even more exciting events to be announced.
Electric Kool-Aid will kick off Friday 17th January at 4pm through to 10pm, while Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th begin at 11:30am. Bodriggy promises uninhibited joy exploring the sound, space and electric currents of sour craft beer!
Bodriggy Brewing Co. is the brainchild of Dr Morse owners Jon Costelloe, Anthony Daniel and Pete Walsh, featuring a huge bar with 64 taps pouring craft beers, wine and cocktails, and a dining area serving up delicious Latin American fare by chef John Dominguez. Guests can expect live music and DJs, offering so much more than a typical brewery.
