This latest addition to Adelaide's dining scene will open on 1 August.
Allegra Dining Room is a refined restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere that captures a balance between a classic dining experience and a novel approach to authenticity.
Guests are invited to experience a seasonal full-course dinner that is plant-based. The wine list is a classic and contemporary ensemble, equally evolving to reflect seasonality.
The menu combines traditional and innovative cooking methods, with a focus on flavour, taking inspiration from local and international techniques.
Chef Elliot Vials leads the kitchen. He explains the philosophy behind the menu, ‘The aim is to create a menu that respects the produce, giving ingredients the energy and time they deserve, whilst appreciating and preserving the hard work that comes before us.’
Allegra has 28 seats. The space is intimate, where guests are afforded an abundance of hospitality. Federico and Melissa Pisanelli, leading the floor, offer guests a journey through the seasonal showcase.
‘The experience at Allegra is about celebrating what’s in nature in a refined yet relaxed setting,’ said Melissa.
Allegra’s full course menu is a thoughtful compilation of 10 dishes and costs $70pp. Allegra operates on reservations taken through its website. Walk-ins are accommodated with a bar menu.
Allegra Dining Room will open 1 August 2019 and serve dinner Thursday to Sunday evenings.
