Every year, on October 20th, World Chefs and its members celebrate International Chefs Day. This year also, October 20th has been selected to celebrate the 8th edition of Global Champagne Day.
La Chaîne de
Rôtisseurs and Gault&Millau, both French world-wide respected organizations
will get together again, as we did last year at the Silvereye Restaurant, to
share a meal and to celebrate our friendship.
We will give recognition to the hard work, dedication and passion of so many chefs around the world in appreciation of their contribution to our culinary lifestyle.
On Global Champagne Day, we will take the opportunity to make a toast to the bubbles of pleasure and a toast to the terroir which grows the magic grapes.
For our culinary celebration of Food and Champagne we are hosted by Chef Antonio Ruggerino at his Southern Italian Verde Restaurant and the integrated Totò Champagne and Wine Bar. The Verde Restaurant is an ideal place to celebrate the amalgamation of both Food and Champagne.
After a welcome glass of Champagne and Canapés in the bar, we will move to the unique Chairman's Room where Chef Antonio will serve a five-course menu, taking us to Southern Italy with some live music. He will pair the menu with four specially selected matching champagnes including a specially selected Vintage Pommery for the Toast to Champagne Day.
We are pleased to offer this special celebration of Food and Champagne for $199.00 which includes a $10 donation to our Young Chefs Competition on the occasion of International Chefs Day.
